Can you imagine a more generous countryside in offering new tastes? The Alba truffle, the excellent and rare cheeses such as Castelmagno, Testun, Raschera and Robiola of Roccaverano, "the gentle round" hazelnuts, the wine that benefits from a terroir where grapes are queens of different kingdoms: Barolo, Dolcetto, Freisa, Muscat. The Langhe express the joys of diversity, welcome the curiosity of gourmets attracted to a culture of culinary creativity that has been practiced for centuries including in desserts...
The sweet delights follow the flavours of these lands and collect recipes and ingredients also by looking at neighbouring traditions. The new interpreters of this culture of tasty research are now the Duca d’ Alba biscuits. A brand that mixes gastronomy nobility with a taste for research. It was originally an enthusiast of Piedmont confectionery, together with a selection of pastry chefs, who wanted to create a confectionery which would renovate the history of Langhe biscuits. He did this by collecting old recipes, mixing ingredients, studying production, straying from tradition to conquer modernity.
To ensure the birth of new delights within the borders of flavours and experiences between Piedmont and Liguria, the Grondona family intervened to make sure that the rules that have been set down for 150 years would always guarantee that any phase of the food tradition from these lands should always follow the rigour of quality.
